david has some good friends. good good friends. their history is long, with most relationships dating back to elementary school and weekend mornings catching frogs. these guys have maintained their bonds, despite the years and miles and responsibilities that each has accrued. they also all happen to have amazing women in their lives, all of whom i would hand select for my own buddies, given the chance.
all these friends, all their partners, and all their kids, in all the corners of the country, came together last weekend to celebrate ryan's birthday. we were super lucky to be part of cam's 40th surprise party in michigan this summer, and now we were super lucky to be part of ryan's 40th birthday celebration.
ryan and his wife jessica live in nyc but have a country place 2 hours north of nyc in lakeville, connecticut. it is gorgeous. it made a perfect place for a 21 person reunion.
