silly school days

elementary school is really quite fun. the kids come home tired, but happy, full of stories. they have friends, they love their teachers, and there all sorts of fun activities.

for example, crazy hair day was super fun.
james asked for a mohawk. this haircut has graduated from temporary to permanent. he's pretty serious about it.


ramona had bunches of little ponytails all over her head. they were pretty awesome looking.

and today! today was the 100th day of the school year, and ramona's class dress like they were 100 years old.

james took the cane and wig and glasses out for a test run,


then ramona dropped the wig, added some pearls, and looked pretty great.


her friends went with curlers, glasses, crutches, cotton-ball wigs. it was a riot.

just to be clear, they are also learning. they are learning so much.
