the kitchen construction hasn't been awful, and any discomfort associated with the construction is overshadowed by the joy of watching the kitchen evolve.
but i'd be lying if i said i didn't miss running water and a stove. i miss running water and a stove. i particularly miss it on csa days. nearly a million pounds of late season vegetables show up in my "kitchen" (read: folding table in the living room) every week, and i stare at them with confusion and frustration.
last week, i acted. the pumpkin from the csa cooked in the pizza oven, and then the pumpkin flesh got all stirred up with the good stuff with only a small disposable plastic spoon. two pies in pre-made crusts baked up perfectly in the same pizza oven. i might keep this pizza oven.

They were really good.
Keep it up. I did it once with an electric fry pan and a crock pot. The half bath was on the same floor, however, making it much easier to get water.
