another fabulous fall means another wonderful weekend in grand haven for a cozy and delicious send off for nana and papa. the staple family gathers for a thanksgiving-like feast and cheer every october, just before david's parents head for florida for the winter. this year, we picked maggie up in chicagoland and enjoyed every minute of having her along. honestly, life with a 3 year old and a 5 year old is exponentially improved when a nearly-12 year old sweet spirited kind girl is part of the crowd. our visit was full of woodland exploration in the dunes behind nana and papa's house, a slack line on the front deck, and a little windy wavy beach time with my little guy.
