a well played hive

the play hive is up. we've talked about that.
but this weekend, it was officially blessed with a large group of kids inside, outside, atop, jostling, snacking, and making a general good time fortress. no adults allowed. it was sweet to watch our kids play in a group (it always is--i learn so much about them by just quietly watching them from a distance), it was sweet to have a backyard full of friends, and it was sweet to watch the playhive fulfill it's destiny.
