happy halloween!

we are celebrating halloween in the staple house with some retro halloween entertainment. we started with charlie brown and the great pumpkin, which was deemed "boring" by the children. undeterred by their fast-paced and entirely too picky standards, we watched it again. they liked it the second time.

and today? the danse macabre cartoon from my childhood. (i mean, who else has a crystal clear memory of watching this on halloween day in their music classroom? it was one of my favorite recurring special school events).


oh, and of course, the classic disney SKELETON DANCE. yessssssssss.
