halloween warm ups

the real deal is later this week, but we've had a few successful trial runs.

first, magnum p.i. took the chicken to the preschool for the costume party. beer for parents, pie for kids. it was a good night.


then i took the fox (a dancing fox, to be exact) and the chicken up to the capitol square and state street for trick or treating at businesses, crafts at the art museum, and a magic show at the performing arts center. ramona loved everything, and james mostly said "i no like it" to, well, everything.


but first, i made them sit on the steps and smile for the camera. this is the best we can do.
