today was james' first halloween; although, i think much of the experience was lost on him (as is the case most 11 month olds). however, this is ramona's third halloween and she really got the whole trick-or-treating thing figured out this year.
our little chickens pose for a photo before heading out for the evening. that grip would soon become even less comfortable for james.

as the rigors of a long evening of trick-or-treating set in, ramona and sam retired to their wagon for a block or so.
the candy march continues after the sun has gone down.
