beach bummer

we wanted to take a dip at one of our many local beaches yesterday. imagine our disappointment, upon arrival at b.b. clarke beach, to learn that high levels of bacteria would thwart our proposed swim.

then we saw these kids skateboarding atop the park shelter, and it looked like fun, so our spirits were lifted.

instead of swimming, we enjoyed an ice cream cone. we both got mint avalanche. there are pieces of thin mint girl scout cookies in that ice cream. delicious!
