we awoke on monday to just the tiniest dust of white snow settled onto rooftops and in the leaves and grass. it's so pretty, particularly when paired with the knowledge that the next 7 days will be 50 degrees and sunny, and one of those days is halloween and NO ONE wants to trick or treat in the snow. i mean, we did it last year, and i did it as a kid, and so therefore i know for sure that no one wants to do that.
