there is some serious serious snow in the upper midwest right now. more than a foot fell on minneapolis, and our friends in michigan's upper peninsula (where big snow is the norm) had a snow day today for all their many inches that fell this weekend. we got a little snow, just a few pretty inches of white sticky snow. usually i am over the moon for fresh snow, but right now...i'm not. i feel bad for the birds who just arrived--the lake is full of loons and wood ducks and they did not come here for this baloney. i feel bad for the daffodils and tulips that were trying to grow. i feel bad for me, who wants to have dry sidewalks and clear sunny spring skies because i have a race to train for and a bike to ride and vitamin d to make. COME ON, weather.
