annual wyalusing camp out

it's been happening for over 20 years, but this year over labor day was our second year at the big neighborhood campout at wyalusing state park. i was so skeptical of this event when i first heard about it (i mean, community meals and bunk houses with 70 neighbors doesn't sound appealing...). it is so fun, and when 70 of your neighbors include 28 of your kids' school mates and the rest of the 70 are your friends and the food is good and the company better and the scenery incomparable, then there is just nothing at all to be skeptical of. frankly, i'm already looking forward to next year.
