not that long ago, the kids attended their favorite camp: mormor camp. let me tell you--this seems like a pretty good camp. they hang out with my mom and dad (mormor and morfar) and eat goodies and do fun stuff. it seems like the campers and the counselors enjoy their time. i know david and i enjoyed mormor camp, too. we stayed in madison, and went out to eat, slept in, and rode our bikes. we went to work, saw our friends, and enjoyed the eery silence in our home.
but it was a little too quiet, a little too lonely, so we happily welcomed our little campers home after 3 days.
but first--a glimpse into our sunny bike ride to paoli.
and a peek into camp, which started at old world wisconsin...
and included kebob making lessons with angel food cake,
a trip to the pool,
and some high-stakes checkers with morfar.
