it's been a big week. an all-the-scott-cousins, all-hands-on-deck sort of week. having all these kiddos together, under one roof, running and playing and laughing together, really does the soul some good. the cousin relationship can be a special friendship, and it was very fun to watch these six kids make some new bonds and memories this week.
we spent some time on campus....
we spent some time hiking the bluffs and swimming the lake at devil's lake state park.....
we took a long walk out to the tip of picnic point, and pumped some water on the way...
we visited the zoo...
we hit up the city pool....
and we partied at the neighborhood festival.
we even left them perilously over-packed on the tire swing with a babysitter,
and made them help make dinner.
it was a good time. thank you to my sisters and sweet nieces and nephews for making the journey and tolerating the hassles to make this happen!
