dakota road trip, day 9

day 9 was a day for driving east for the first time on this trip. we packed up the campsite, had a big breakfast with the whole family, and then moved our caravan towards fargo, north dakota. on our way, we made a few pit stops. namely, to see the world's biggest holstein,

the world's biggest bison,

and the country's ugliest state capitol (sorry north dakota, but that is just the truth). 

and then, under a sunny sky on a beautiful sunny afternoon, we rolled up to my aunt judy's house in west fargo. we hopped out of the car for the obligatory Ramona Ave photo, 

and then spent a very pleasant few hours catching up with my grandma scott, and my aunt and uncle. meanwhile, the four cousins played as hard they could to make up for all the back seat road trip time. 

for me, this part was maybe the best part of the whole trip.
