short season

this year brought a late thanksgiving and what felt like an early christmas and frankly i don't even know what i mean by that. all i know is that the christmas prep time was not long enough. not nearly. i feel a little robbed. but we did as much as we could to really dig into the christmas cheer, and it felt good. i love christmas.

we made cookies and watched movies at the SAME TIME

later, we made cookies again

we went to my new favorite thing ever: a free christmas carol sing along in overture hall lead by the organist, who is equal parts talented and charming, and he's a LOT of both of those thing. after that, we went to tuba christmas in the capitol

and then hit up a solstice bonfire. tis the season for christians and pagans alike.

we had an early christmas celebration in plymouth with mormor and morfar, which included hiking, tree climbing, and smorgasbord posing.

christmas eve brought us a chance to shower and clean up for a festive gathering and church,

and christmas morning, santa brought the goods.

later on christmas, we drove through the lights, ate chinese food, and watched it's a wonderful life. because you know what? it is a wonderful life.
