first the bad news: david got a cold and a fever a few weeks ago, and it lasted a long time, and he was in a pretty bad way. just when it looked like he might be starting to slowly get better, he got worse again and developed pneumonia. he's been treated and he is slowly again climbing out of this very draining illness. good job, buddy! (it's been rough, y'all).
but then the good news: he's getting better, and took the kids to get hair cuts. they made some independent decision about their hair, and they are SO HAPPY. i'm working to accept their choices without judgement. see? good news! happy kids working on independence! i'm working on growth and acceptance! hooray!
