long trip

well, we are back and life is getting a little more on track after a 2 week road trip to appalachia.
we unpacked and then filled the pool, set up the tent, watched a backyard movie.

we're back on our bikes and headed all over town.

we're in the lake, looking at the lake, near the lake, and contemplating the lake.

we're killing it in neighborhood triathalons (and showering kids with praise)

and up to our usual dunk tank and parade silliness for the 4th of july.

we're watching neighbors blow stuff up for the holiday,

and eating gobs of sugar with babysitters.

we are sneaking in special dates because we can't get enough of each other,

and we are fondly remembering and starting to record the details of our recent trip.
