everywhere i went, i was running

this weekend, ramona and i were runnnnnnning. running.

on saturday, cheered on by grandparents, an aunt and uncle and some adorable cousins, ramona ran her very first 5k with her girls on the run team from school. her friends, coaches, and lots of parents from the team (including me) were all there to run together with lots and lots of other girls on the run kids from southern wisconsin. it was pretty awesome.

and when the running was over on saturday, we got some solid hangout time with our favorite minnesotans. we cuddled by the fire, we danced in the kitchen, we made lego creations, played with icicles on monkey island, and squeezed in some early birthday celebration.

we had quality time.

sunday was my annual madison half marathon, and i ran it with a friend who is new to running but is pretty good at it. she pulled me along to my fastest time ever, and it felt great.
