rocky mountain low?

we just got back from a few glorious days spent in the mountains, and i make no secret about how much i love it there. i gasped and sighed and announced names of visible peaks all weekend long to my tolerant family. i gloried in sweaters and hiking boots and aspen trees and yellow bellied marmots. i remember some places like the back of my hand.
and now that we are home, i feel a tiny bit bummed out, like i really miss the mountains.

so i was looking at pictures of our trip, and stumbled across these gems from the few days before we left for colorado.....and you know what? now i don't miss those mountains because what i have here, now, is everything i need.
