planning planning

i came across this photo on my phone, and it really captures a good portion of my spring this year. on my days at home with james, there is usually a big chunk of time spent with my notes and ideas and folders, catching up from the previous night's meeting and sending the emails and updating the spreadsheets and .....sigh. i'm helping to plan the big neighborhood party, and taking the lead on it has turned into a big job. the party is going be GREAT.

and james is always so great about letting me get my work done. he plays in his room, he helps himself to a snack, and he checks in with me frequently to see if i'm done yet.
