kindergarten graduation

ramona is now an official graduate of lapham elementary's kindergarten. how did this day arrive so quickly? wasn't it just yesterday that we were dropping a nervous quiet 5 year old off on the sunny early morning playground? today, she bravely and proudly marched with her classmates to the front of an auditorium packed with parents. she smiled her freshly gap-toothed smile (tooth #2 came out in the lunch room today!), and sang some songs from the risers. she shook hand with the principal, and received her certificate. she felt all sorts of proud happy feelings, and so did we.
