a welcome home bouquet

 a long car ride in 80+ degree weather with two queasy car sick kids is quickly forgotten when your arrival home is greeted with a backyard fully in bloom. i made a bouquet, and instantly felt better. plus, there is something about gathering flowers on memorial day that helps me recall what matters in life, how short it is, and to collect the blooms when you can.
