prince died today, and it was a real surprise. we've been singing a lot of prince songs, and (as some of you may know) "purple rain" is one of the kids' favorites. it comes on the ipod right after "puff the magic dragon" so, you know, they get a lot of "purple rain."

but recently, we've been singing along with other deceased 80s icons. here's ray jamming to whitney houston over some breakfast.
