marta in florida

marta obviously does an amazing job of documenting the goings-on of our family. she curates our photos and matches them with thoughtful prose on this blog. these posts provide the few who care with weekly-ish updates on our family, but provide us with an incomparable scrapbook of our lives together over the last decade. however, marta has a tendency to leave out one important member of the family... MARTA.

in her very recent post about our spring break trip to florida, marta neglected to include even a single picture of herself.  i'll admit that i don't take nearly as many photos as marta does, and this trip was probably no exception.  however, i feel obliged to inform our blog readers that marta was indeed on this trip, and was in fact photographed.  here she is:

although i should do a better job of documenting her presence, marta is always there with us, making our lives better in innumerable ways. i can't imagine our lives without her.  the woman behind the camera and the blog should really be featured more often, and i'm vowing to make that happen from here forward.
