the day was well celebrated, with brother love and joy;

a thoroughly enjoyable mor mor triumph at MasterMind;

birthday party joy joy joy with birthday girl arms up in the air (!!!);


and a snowy scavenger hunt with all the little happy makers!

and one of ramona's greatest joys comes from a close and dear friendship with her school buddy molly. friendship is the wonderful gift that comes with getting a bit older, and makes a fine way to celebrate a birthday.

oh, and skiing! skiing makes for a pretty fine celebration, particularly when the little birthday girl screws up her courage to take the jump that she's been eyeing up for a while.
