an active new year

it has been a busy start to 2016, and that's the way we like it!

we are polishing rocks,

 

brushing off our home brew skills (and working on what should be a delicious tart cherry porter),

swimming at lessons,
 

playing who-knows-what in the backyard in the late afternoon,

singing with the kindergarteners for fine arts night (an absolute highlight of the school year for us as parents--it was adorable),

getting treated for lice (again),
 

and enjoying a little charlie and chocolate factory projected on the wall. 

keep it coming, 2016. except for the lice. we don't need anymore lice.
