swim team staple

after 3 months of weekly swim lessons with a new program, these two have made substantial swimming advancements. the previous lessons, which they've been taking since 6 months of age, got them used to the water. but this new program? well, at least one of them is officially swimming with real strokes all on her own. i'm impressed by my kids every day, but this afternoon at swim lessons, i was particularly impressed.

check out ramona's back stroke across the pool. her instructor is not touching her. she's swimming on her own. i'm bragging. yes. bragging.

and james is getting his head wet, his face wet, and letting the instructor flip him and float him. it doesn't seem like much, but believe me when i tell you he's come a long way.
