nine years

nine years ago today, we got married. nine years feels like such a long time, but such a short time. we've already done so much in that time, but have lived only a small portion of our lives as a married couple. this marriage has become it's own living thing, no longer just me and him, marta and david, but us. and i can't imagine life without it.

thanks david, for always lifting me up higher, being a good partner, and being my true and perfect constant.


so to celebrate, we went to lunch at the university club today, just like we did last year, and the year before. to the same place we were with our friends and family just nine short and long years ago. we also managed a stop by the church for a photographic walk down memory lane (and to take the comparison shot--it turns out we have aged a little bit.)
