our last day in manhattan was really just a morning, and we spent the whole thing back in central park. we took a train up in 110th street in east harlem, and followed meandering park paths back down to 77th before getting back on the train. with this morning's visit, combined with the earlier visit this weekend, we covered all the latitudes of central park on this trip, which is no small feat (if you ask me) (and it's my blog, so, you know, my opinion is...well...the whole point of this narcissistic endeavour, no?). it was a pleasant morning, and more popsicles were consumed.

after a little delay in newark for rain (which felt like FOREVER for 2 people who missed their kids terribly), we finally got home to these little monkeys, and had a joyful reunion in the hammock.
