these are jack mccoy's steps, people. DUN DUN.
anyway....we found the bridge, we walked to brooklyn, and had the best time. we rode a merry go round in the park under the brooklyn and manhattan bridges! we found a hipster food festival and ate awesome food! we had a handmade artisanal $3.50 popsicle, sold by two skinny tatooed fellows with handlebar mustaches, 19th century vests, and horn rim glasses. to be fair, it was the world's best popsicle.

our return trip landed us in the west village. we walked to washington square park, through NYU, greenwich village, past the horror of times square, and through bryant park to reach our midtown hotel. rooftop drinks, resting with our over-worked feet up, and dinner planned less than 2 blocks from our hotel was the perfect way to the end the day.
me, in washington square park, about 2 minutes before i removed my shoes and climbed into that fountain. it was HOT and muggy, folks.
