weekend discoveries

while david spent a weekend with friends in ann arbor, my precious children and i spent the weekend with family in plymouth. single parenting is much easier when there are 2 loving adults on hand to provide food/lodging/clean up/parenting services. we had a super time, but missed david terribly. 

at my parents' house, we spent a lot of time outside. we made some important discoveries:

1. ramona and james like each other well enough to play together. and enjoy it. this is spontaneous hugging and giggling, which lead to wrestling, which lead to general happiness and merriment.




2. there is wild animal poop in the acreage behind my parents' house, it gets on the wagon wheels, and watching mor mor spray the wheels with the hose is FASCINATING.

3. i sound like a way nerdier kid in this "girl of the month" paper clipping than i recall being.
