cozy time

thanksgiving is coming, and in the staple house, that means a few things. it means that it is time to give thanks for our abundant blessings. it means that it is time for reflection and gratitude.

but it also means that it is time for a christmas tree and warm holiday glow cozy time. this year, we returned to hann's christmas tree farm in oregon to hunt the perfect fir tree. we weren't their first customers of the year, the week, or even the day (!) which was a real change from last year.

anyway, we found the tree almost immediately. tracking down our insane toddler )who got pretty far away from us by running a wild slalom course through the frasier firs) was a bit more involved than finding the tree. eventually we found ramona, cut the tree down, and began cozy time at home.
