the simple life

it amazes me when i consider how simple it is for a toddler to experience wonder, or a baby to experience joy. ramona was surprised and awed to discover that watermelon can be yellow,


and james is overjoyed every time i smile at him.
 

these guys are nice to have around as a reminder that life really can be simply joyful and totally awe-inspiring.
