ironman wisconsin

we have been enthusiastic spectators of the ironman ever since it first came to wisconsin.  this year we completed a triathlon of our own by traveling to three separate locations to view the three respective legs of the event.

we loaded the kids into the bike trailer and headed to monona terrace to watch the tail end of the swim.

we watched the bike portion while noshing on scrumptious wisconsin delicacies at a friend's house on the course.

we watched the run with friends at the capitol square.

it is always an inspiring event, and this year didn't disappoint.  i'm also always embarrassed to admit that at the end of a day of iron-spectating, i'm all worn out.

p.s. congratulations, don.
