we filled the kiddie pool beyond the recommended capacity (a favorite past time of mine, to be sure).
james the sun worshipper lounged pool side, adjusting his sun umbrella.
we had some beach time at long lake, where ramona and caleb helped mormor hunt for zebra mussels.
back at the house, there was a t-ball that produced a surprising amount of toddler cooperation and sharing,
minor mechanical repairs to the yard equipment,
and byron showed me how much cooler my sun glasses look on him than me.
the end of stay included a visit to downtown plymouth for the mill street festival. i made my official debut as "frazzled mother and aunt with too many children hanging off of her body."

Looks like a nice visit. By the way, Monie is 2 1/2 today. Happy Birthday, honey!
i love how ramona is the beautiful calm in the midst of the becker storm (picture number one), while james also calmly chilled poolside... i have the sweetest niece and nephew, and the trip was a blast!
