ramona and i spent the weekend in minnesota with ramona's aunt julia, uncle dana, cousin caleb, and cousin baby-not-born-yet. we had a lovely time snuggled up together indoors, watching the storm of century dump 3 feet of snow outside. i'm sure you've heard about it; it was the storm that broke the metrodome. seriously.
early afternoon. 3 feet of snow. a car, buried. during snowpocalypse 2010, the babies worked on sharing, throwing food, and chasing the cat and dog. the adults made cookies, drank warm cider and spicy egg nog, and watched "white christmas." man, that's a good movie.
we even managed some outdoor time. my poor child needed ziplock baggies on her feet, as her neglectful mother did not bring snow boots. oops. indoors, piano duets were negotiated but never executed. pant-less mopping was a favorite activity for caleb. ramona's hipster style continues to evolve.

Oh my gosh... the Ziploc booties! I'm so glad you recorded that for posterity. :)
