looking through our photo library, it would appear that i have a strange facination with photographing manhole covers when we travel. i'm not sure why, but i rather like them. here are a few of my favorites.
downtown montreal, canada: i believe this is the first manhole photo i took
broadway, nyc: it has my initials on it. i had to place my safety at a bit of risk to get this manhole, as it was in the middle of the street.
minneapolis, mn: very sharp looking manhole. this was taken this past weekend while we were visiting marta's sister and brother-in-law. marta will blog more about that trip later.

That is weird because every manhole cover I have ever seen (with very few exceptions) are made in Neenah WI and say so on the top. I too like to look at manhole covers and drainage grates... I am glad to know I am not alone.

you kids might want to keep a low profile regarding your manhole-cover-lust. people are stealing them, and the police are on the prowl.

you know what i always say, "take only pictures, leave only manhole covers."
I am very proud of you for coming out about your love of man holes.
