over the weekend, we visited my sister julia and her husband dana in minneapolis. the have an awesome little house in a great neighborhood, and their dogs and cat seem happy.
willy tells david of the joys of the longfellow neighborhood.
julia and diego give us a tour of the house.
david and dana share a special brother-in-law moment. or, maybe, they share a special moment discussing how they are not technically brothers-in-law. or are they? they are married to sisters. does that make them brothers-in-law?
backyard lunchtime sister bliss.

i have often maintained that the term only extends to the husband of one's sibling, or the brother one's spouse. it seems i have been incorrect:
brother-in-law: (brŭTH'ər-ĭn-lô')
n., pl. broth·ers-in-law
1. The brother of one's spouse.
2. The husband of one's sibling.
3. The husband of the sibling of one's spouse.
well, that clears that up.
Dana was willing to settle for friend, but it appears we can keep brother-in-law alive. What a relief. Thanks again for a fantastic visit!
I'm pretty sure "outlaw" is the correct term.
