the finish line is SO. CLOSE.
but yet, no one comes to do the finishing final touches.
but yet, the porta potty sits on the drive way, the dumpster fills with rainwater, and the house is full of hodgepodge things that belong in the basement.
we've been living this way for six months, and i'm tired of it.
so let's reframe this in a positive light: look at what we DO have!
cubbies and hooks and a bench!
a window at the bottom of our (unfinished) stairs!
hooks and paint in the hallway!
a bathroom with a functioning sink!
shelves and hooks on the wall!
