1997, freshman year of college (you guys, all i have is me. i don't know if david dressed up in college, but i sure did). dorm life. hula girl, maybe?
1998, sophomore year. go go dancers? i am not totally clear on what our plan was.
1999, junior year. i was a character from a soap opera. my boyfriend was....a woman? and i broke my foot pretty early in the night, so i don't have a lot of fond memories of this one.
2000. me and jackie, green and blue. obviously.
2001, my fifth and last (and best?) year of college, kate and i were 80s jazzercise instructors? we were fitness folks with crimped hair.
then david came into my life....
2002, royal tennenbaums
2003, billy jean king and bjorn borg
2004, just dressed up at work. this is strongly encouraged when you are a nurse on a pediatric unit and you take care of kids with cancer who basically live at the hospital.
then there were some years of not dressing up.....moving, traveling, living in california, being pregnant. things like that got in the way. we did manage to put some pretty sweet robot costumes together for 2008:
