we really lucked out this summer. so many of our favorite people have been coming here to see us, right in madison! james has been so proud to take everyone on a walking tour of his bedroom, and ramona loves having grandparents pick her up at camp, and aunts to share pizza and games with. nana and papa came for a visit, spent some time with us at our favorite local beach, and joined us at the first concerts on the square. aunt libby came along with us to the farmer's market and to our favorite pizza-and-vintage-arcade place (there's only one of those, so it's easy to call it our favorite). later this week, we will have another aunt and two super awesome cousins over for a slumber party, and later this summer, there will be more aunts, a great aunt, and even a great-grandmother. THE BEST thing ever.

aunt libby, fresh from a tour on the capitol building observation deck, a patriotic band concert on the capitol steps, and some serious farmer's market action (specifically, she bought cheese curds). (sadly, she forgot them in our fridge.)

We had a ball. So glad everyone else is getting a special time with you guys. I left cheese curds in the refrigerator a few years ago. Next time I'll just eat 'em up.
