yesterday marked the official first day of 2016 of no-coat walk home. it was the first official day of no-hurry-home, no-mittens, no-chill-in-the-air. these two are so smitten with early spring that they sat right down on their scooters on the mid-day walk home from school and literally inched their way home while basking in early spring sunshine. winter, I love you, I really do. but spring, oh spring! welcome back.
