one tooth down

she thought it would NEVER happen to her. all her friends have lost multiple teeth, but hers haven't even started to wiggle. but one bite of an apple today and boom! out comes tooth number one. it's weirdly exciting . she's so proud and so happy and a little scared and worried and cried a little bit but also really really happy, and i'm so happy for her and amazed at her steady growth and pleased that i got to be here for her big moment. man, having kids really is an emotional experience.
