celebrations!

james has finally, officially, turned 4. he was pretty adamant that he is not technically 4 until candles on a cake have been blown out. he finally turned four according to his own rules on saturday (a full 5 days after his birthday), when we had a little tiny birthday party with the damons at a bowling alley.

not only did we bowl and have cake, we had lunch with mormor and morfar, where the birthday boy got a bugle. he LOVES this bugle.



now that the birthday is over, the long joyful holiday season has begun. the christmas tree farm has been visited, the tree has been chopped and decorated, and the pre-thanksgiving jitters are everywhere.
