weekends at home

last summer, so many weekends (over half! i still hardly believe that...) were spent out of town having incredible gobs of fun. this summer, we have a new focus: stay home and have gobs of fun. put in the garden beds. see friends. start playing on a soccer team with the neighbor kids. get ready for kindergarten. i'm pretty excited about this plan.

we can canoe!

we can keep up with the weeding!

we can have friends over and drink sangria under the christmas lights, while ramona peeks at us from her bedroom window and wonders why she needs to be in bed and can't join us.

these two can....do whatever they do.

we can even play in the super new playhouse that we helped a friend decorate with tons of little hands. 

i think it's going to be a good summer.
