david delicately applies rubber cement to his dyed eggs to create interested lined patterns in multiple colors. he's so pinterest.
james not-so-delicately smashes and smooshes his painted egg.

the final product, minus james' hard boiled mess.
when they arrived, we had lots of insane tutu dancing. this photo captures a rare still moment in the constant movement of the weekend.
easter morning brought the arrival of some very early morning mystery eggs (a very thoughtful neighborhood easter bunny visited our front steps, much to everyone's delight). my very tired child clutches a few of these precious surprise eggs at 7 am.
mormor and morfar also arrived on sunday morning, in time to join us in church, for basket and egg hunting, and for a big ham and potato style sunday dinner.
our little hunters, doing their thing.

while the candy-crazed children found eggs, i found these marvelous little flowers. spring is really, truly going to come. any day now...
happy staples on a very happy easter!
