floridaaaaaaaaah

naples, florida had a high of 80, was mostly sunny to partly cloudy, with 0% chance of precipitation last weekend. we know, because we were there.  spending a nice, long weekend with nana and papa is always a special thing; doing it in the sun, in the pool, and on the beach is even sweeter. nana and papa took good care of us at their place in naples, and we are ever thankful for a chance to visit them in such a warm and beautiful place.

what did we do? we swam in the pool,

(for james, swimming in the pool meant soaking his shorts underwater, climbing out of the pool and then bending over and watching the water drain from his shorts. this happened very very frequently.)

cried and napped and dug at the beach,

drove a firetruck,

and watched for birds in our jammies.

we were sad to say goodbye, but we cheered ourselves by watching for planes and trucks (a direct quote from james "truck! truck! truck! truck!") through the airport window.

We enjoyed your visit. Spending time in the pool with my grandchildren is one of my favorite things.

These pictures are awesome! Your family is adorable. James is such a character and is changing so fast. It looks like Ramona took one of Nana's advanced aquatics classes.
