groundhoggery

punxsutawney phil predicted an early spring when he saw his shadow this weekend; that news creates mixed emotions from the staple family. we love the cold. it's good for snow shoveling, snow eating, ice skating, and david's favorite new hobby: securing our spot as the official crazy family in the neighborhood by adorning the front yard with brightly colored ice sculptures (in addition to our pink flamingos).
