weekend warriors

the first weekend of june is always great because it is david's birthday, the weather is super, and there is lots to do. the farmer's market is always "cows on the concourse," complete with a pen of baby cows and a rotating griddle for massive grilled cheese sandwich production. baby cows and grilled cheese sandwiches makes this my favorite farmer's market.

we also managed to get both kids in the bike trailer this weekend, for a short amount of time. ramona was skeptical about sharing "her" trailer with james. james was...well, he looked a little worried.

after some naps, we packed up the wagon and drove to lake kegonsa state park for our first family-of-four camping trip. it was truly an adventure that won't be forgotten.
